2025 Kona Kick Off

As the highly anticipated kickoff to the summer season, the Kona Kick Off is a competitively priced “four flags” tournament that splits the base pot between the largest marlin, ahi, ono and mahi. Additional optional jackpots for all four species, along with marlin tag points, create multiple ways for teams to win.

Sunday, June 28, 2026 — FISHING DAY 1
6AM: Boats allowed to leave Honokohau Harbor
6:15AM – 8AM: Last minute Optional Additions at Fuel Dock
6:15AM – 8:30AM: Visual check-out of vessels leaving harbor.
8:30AM: Start Fishing ANYWHERE!
4:30PM: Stop Fishing
6PM: Dock Time deadline — all boats inside Honokohau Harbor*
6:30PM: Deadline for release video submissions*

Monday, June 29, 2026 — FISHING DAY 2 & AWARDS BANQUET
6:15AM – 7AM: Visual check-out of vessels leaving harbor.
7AM: Start Fishing SHOTGUN START!
4PM: Stop Fishing
5PM: Awards Banquet with Dinner & Kuleana Rum Bar at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club
6PM: Dock Time deadline — all boats inside Honokohau Harbor*
6:30PM: Deadline for release video submissions*
7PM: Awards Presentation & Giveaway Drawings
